What Fresh Made Me Realize About Our Food Watching Fresh made me rethink something I usually take for granted—where my food actually comes from. The film pulls back the curtain on the farms, animals, and systems behind our meals, and it instantly makes you wonder why we don’t think about this more often. The purpose of Fresh is simple: wake people up to the real costs of cheap, industrial food. It’s aimed at everyday consumers and uses a tone that’s honest but still hopeful. Instead of doom and gloom, it shows that better, more sustainable farming is possible—and already happening. What stood out most was the contrast between massive industrial farms and small regenerative ones.
